AMENDMENT TO PARKING REGULATIONS
According to an amendment to the Traffic Regulations, which hae lust been gazetted, motor-cycles, trailers and horse-drawn vehicles will become subject to the same parking rule* as those governing the parking of other types of vehicles except bicycle*. The superintendent of the traffic department of the Christchurch City Council (Mr O. P. Kel'ar) said yesterday that the amendment stipulated that ‘‘no person or driver in charge of any vehicle not being a bicycle snail stop, stand, or park such vehicle whether attended or unattended” In any of the olaces covered bv the regulations. The amendment anplied to time limit* as well as prohibited parking areas, he said. The princinal change in the rule* lie* in the substitution of the words “nbt being a bicycle,” for a vehicle “having more than two road wheels.”
