CUSTOMS RETURNS

INCREASE SHOWN IN CHRISTCHURCH There was a substantial increase in the amount of revenue collected by the Customs Department, Christchurch, in April, compared with April, 1950-51. Last month £448,515 was collected, compared with £385,272 for the corresponding month last year.
