MARCHING CHAMPIONSHIPS

Sir, —The centennial marching championships were held recently in Christchurch and a rumour is being widely circulated that there was an error in adding up the points, and that the runners-up (B grade) were really the winners by quite a few points. Out of fairness to the girls concerned, I would like to know if this is a fact, and will the Marching Association please publish the correct points to clear this matter up and oblige Yours, etc..

, . JUSTICE. April 4, 1951. [The secretary of the Canterbury Centre of the New Zealand Marching Association (Mr A. B. Kennedy) had no comment to make when this letter was referred to him.]
