(Rec 9 p.m.) BUDAPEST, April 15. Bread rationing has been reimpcsed in Hungary. The daily ration will be about Jib. Ijoz to 9Joz extra for intellectuals, nursing mothers, heavy physical workers and some others. Rationing in Hungary ended in September, 1948, but has since been reimposed on sugar, fats, meat and milk.

The Hungarian newspapers stated that bread rationing had been necessitated by enemy attempts to undermine the food supplies. The ration would be adequate. It would be higher than the highest average consumption since IMS.
