MR TRYGVE LIE IN GREECE
(Rec. 8.10 p.m.) ATHENS, April 16. The United Nations Secretary-Gen-eral (Mr Trygve Lie) accompanied by Mrs Lie arrived in Athens yesterday
on the first stage of a tour of the Balkan and Middle East countries. To-day Mr and Mrs Lie will lunch with King Paul and Queen Frederika. Before he leaves Athens on Wednesday the Secretary-General will have talks with Greek officials and members of the United Nations Special Committee for the Balkans. Mr Lie said last night that his visit has no special political purpose.
