BRITISH ZONE OF GERMANY
POLICE CLASH WITH COMMUNISTS
(Rec. 8 p.m.) LONDON. April 16. Thirteen policemen were injured in the British Zone town of Gelsenkirchen yesterday In clashes with the Communist-sponsored Free German Youth Movement. Ten Youth Movement members were arrested.
Four police tried to stop the march through the streets of the town of the uniformed Free German Youth, but the marchers beat up and kicked one policeman and attacked others with flagsticks in the town square. There were other clashes in front of the police station. Order was not restored until last night.
