Motor Body Builders.— The following resolution was carried at a general mect'ng of the Canterbury Motor Body Builders’ Association: "Where local bodies require the building of bodies for motor-buses for pubHc transport, where the cost his to met by ratepayers, the work should be carried out bv the local trade, or, failing that, by New Zealand tradesmen, provided the costs and conditions are comparable with overseas tenders.”
