ENGLAND'S GRAND NATIONAL STEEPLECHASE AT AINTREE.-The scene at the fence soon after the start of the Grand National Steeplechase at Aintree, Liverpool, on April 7. Several hornes fell and others lost their riders. The favourites were out of the race long before the finish, and only three of the 36 starters completed the coarse.
