PROTEST TO THE KING
LONDON. April 18. Five religious organisations have jointly protested to His Majesty the King about Princess Elizabeth’s visit to the Pope. They sent His Majesty a telegram from a conference in London saying: “We are deeply grieved over the visit made by the Princess to the Pope.” . The organisations signing the telegram were the Protestant Truth Society, the Protestant Alliance, the Women’s Protestant Union, the Sovereign Grace Union, and the British Bible Union.
