SOUTH RHODESIA’S STATUS
SALISBURY (Southern Rhodesia). April 13.
A select committee recommended today that the status of Southern Rhodesia be changed from a colony to a Dominion.
In a report which will be debated by the House of Assembly on April 19, the committee also proposes the creation of a Senate and the appointment of future Governors in the same manner as Dominion Governor-Generals.
