CHORD WINS DOUBLE (New Zealand Press Association) NELSON, April 15. > The Nelson Jockey Club’s annual meeting opened at Richmond Park in fine weather, before a good attendance. The track was heavy. The totalisator handled £30,345, inclusive of £2550 on the double, compared with £32,685 on the first day at the last meeting in 1949, a decrease of £2550.
