The Prime Minister (Mr Holland) has accepted the invitation of the Australian Returned Services’ Association to be present at the association’s dawn service in Christchurch on Anzac Day. Mr Holland will arrive by air’ on April 24. Mr S. J. Mann was admitted as a barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court yesterday by Mr Justice Northcroft on the motion of Dr. R. Hepburn. Mr Gregory Kane has been appointed president of the North Canterbury area of the British Drama League. Mr Kane is chairman of the Theatre Arts Guild, which he founded about two years ago. Mr Burgesh the grand wresident of the. Grand Lodge of Canter-bury-U.A.O. Druids, has left for Lawfence'to attend the annual conference of the Otago and Southland iurisdiction. -
