ANOTHER RECORD
Another record for the season was made at Addington on Wednesday, when 21 lambs were sold in the store pens at Ils a head. It is the lowest price paid for sheep of any sort this season by a good margin. The lambs were the culls of a draft of culls, and looked a poor proposition at even Ils for anyone not prepared to put a lot of careful work into rearing them. Two years ago quite a respectable sort of lamb could be bought for Ils and, n °t many years since, Ils was regarded as a . fair enough price for really good lambs. One farmer remarked that it was like old times hearing Us called at Addington.
