LABOURER CONVICTED OF CAR CONVERSION
(From Out Own Reporter) TTMABU. April 13? “It is difficult to say what would have happened if you had not been detected." said the Magistrate (Mr E. A. Lee. S.M.) in the Magistrate’s Court at Umaru this morning, when Raymond Edward Shaw, a labourer, aged 27, was charged with unlawfully converting to his own use a lorry, the property of Patrick Joseph Hogan. Shaw pleaded guilty. , "You are not building up for yourself a very happy record.” said the Magistrate after he had seen the probation officer’s report. He convicted Shaw and ordered him to come up for sentence if called upon in six months
