Associated Chambers of Commerce.— Transport difficulties have caused the cancellation of the annual conference of the Associated Chambers of Commerce, which was to have been held at Timaru next week. The suggestion has been made that the conference now be held from June 19 to June 22. Wrestling Bout at Wellington.— ln a wrestling contest last night Al Costello (Australia) beat George Pencheff (America) in the Wellington Town Hall on points after each had gained a fall—(P.A.)
