NEW BRIGHTON APPEAL FOR BLIND
A meeting representative of most sports and social organisations in New Brighton decided last evening to sponsor the Dominion appeal for the blind in the district. Mr J. L. Hay spoke on the need after a film on work for the blind had been shown. The following committee was appointed: chairman, Mr P. C. Francis; secretary. Mr J. W. Hulmc; treasurer, Mr R. H. Boyes; executive, Messrs G. Couch. F. Gracie, W. Gorely the Rev. Mr Froud, Mesdames L. W. Scrimshaw, Ogden, and McDonald.
