TRAVEL ALLOWANCES FOR PUBLIC SERVANTS
(New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, April 11. The Government Service Tribunal announced the following amended travelling allowances for public servants effective from February 15: employees receiving £460 or less to receive 26s 6d, plus 15 per cent a day; other employees -Us 6d, plus 16 per cent, a day; ana private secretaries to Ministers 36s plus 15 per cent There will be an additional rate of 2s paid to employees on each occasion on which they stay at one hotel for one night only.
