KRUGER PARK
Sir,—The Kruger Park is the last stand made by God in South Africa. There, where animals are free and men are controlled, life has a serenity and beauty unknown, or at least lost, in other parts of South Africa. It is a dreadful shame that the decent beasts of Malaya, Indo-China, Korea, the Near East, or the Far West are not provided with sanctuaries in which they could live in peace. Instead they are liable to mutilation or destruction by the blind fury of human hate as demonstrated in wars.—Yours, etc., H. J. BUTTLE. Barfield, May 11,1951.
