ANNUAL MEETING OF ASSOCIATES Dissatisfaction with the poor attendances at the monthly meetings was expressed by the secretary (Mrs R. W. Wornall) at the annual meeting of the Associates’ .Group of the National Council of Women last evening. Other officers also said that they felt that they had not received adequate support at many of the meetovercome this problem, it was decided to hold the next meeting as usual, but that during June, July and August meetings would be held on the Monday afternoons preceding the meetings of the National Council of Women. These afternoon gatherings will be held in the Theosophical Hall, subject to the approval of the hall committee. . . The treasurer (Mrs H. C.'Brent) reported that there were 58 members, M of whom were financial. An outline of the study group of the Federation of University Women was given by Mrs M. Scott, who was the guest speaker for the evening. She referred to the Pan-Pacific, Women’s Conference to be held next year, and said study groups were being held to enable members to understand the living conditions to which other conference delegates were used. The following officers were re-elect-ed: president, Mrs S. Aitcheson; secretary, Mrs R. Wornall; treasure. Mrs H. C. Brent: delegates to National Council of Women, Mesdames Aitcheson, Wornall, Brent and Miss H. K. LoVell-Smith.
