FLOUR UNLOADED AT NAPIER
60 AIRMEN ENGAGED (New Zealand Press Association) , NAPIER, March 11 Servicemen this morning began w loading urgently-needed flour from the coastal vessel Calm. Intermittent ft t restricted the work of the 60 airmea who hac* been brought by air from Wigram. The Calm brought 266 tom bf flour for distribution in Hawke’s Bay and Gisborne and a small quantity of pollard. Special licences have been issued by the Transport Department to allow the flour to be taken to Wairoa and Gisborne by road should the need arise. The coaster Pakura is also at Napier with 250 tons of sugar for discharge. •
