SCENIC RESERVES AT LAKE BRUNNER
,21 ACRES OF LAND GIVEN
(From Our Own Reporter) GREYMOUTH, March 5. A valuable area of 21 acres of bush will be added to New Zealand’s scenic reserves at Lake Brunner. The land has been given by pr. Charles G. F. Marice, of Wellington. who was formerly superintendent Of the Grey Hospital He is a son of the late Dr. cTT. Moriee, one of Greymouth’s best known decThe scenic committee of the West Coast branch of the Automobile Association, Canterbury, has been advised that Dr. Marice has given to the Government 21 acres of land where the eastern Hohonu river flows into Lake Brunner. Formerly there was a big gap beforeshore of the lake and scenic reserve and Dr. Mor ice* gift will ctote this gap.
