APPEAL FOR THE BLIND
- Sir,—We of the fanning community are anxious to do our bit towards the C resent Dominion appeal for the blind, ut many of us have insufficient information. Over the air and in various publicatipns we have been given to understand that we would receive coupons to fill in and hand to our stock agents or freezing companies. The drive is under way, but where are the coupons? I am sure that, with few exceptions, farmers will not miss the opportunity of giving stock at the forthcoming fairs or through the works if they know how to go about it—Yours, etc., WOULD-BE CONTRIBUTOR.
March 2, 1951. [When this letter was referred to the secretary-manager of the Christchurch branch of the Institute for the Blind (Mr G. F. C. Ashdown) he said: "The coupons contained on the back Of a circular were delivered to every former by the Post and Telegraph Department It is not necessary to use one of these coupons, as goods can be contributed by communicating with a stock agent or a freezing works buyer.”]
