Schools’ Flower Show.—Schools situated m the Tawera-North Malvern area, comprising Kowai Bush, Springfield, and Sheffield Consolidated, held a flower show in the Sheffield Hall last week. Flowers, vegetables, and mounted collections bf grasses, weeds, and native trees were exhibited. The show was opened bv Mr J. K. McAlpine M.P., who praised the high standard of exhibits. Mr B. Blackmore, the schools’ agricultural instructor, also spoke.
