CAGE BIRD SHOW
RECORD ENTRIES AND HIGH STANDARD
This was the largest young bird show ever to be held in Christchurch, said the secretary (Mr W. H. Ramsay), when the Society of Cage Birds opened its .annual show in. the Orange Hall on Saturday afternoon. The entry of 380 birds by 36 exhibitors was a substantial increase over that of previous years. In the opinion of the judges, the standard of the show was exceptionally high, considering that at this time of the year many birds are in moult and unfit for show purposes.
