COMPLAINT BY BULGARIA

ALLEGED “VIOLATION OF AIR SPACE”

(Rec. 8 p.m.) NEW YORK, March 2.

Bulgaria complained to the United Nations to-day about seven alleged violations of Bulgarian air space by Greek planes. The letter, from the Deputy-Foreign Minister (Mr Evgeni Kamenov), charged that the planes flew over Bulgarian territory at a very low altitude reconnoitring Bulgarian frontier regions. Mr Kamenov claimed that some of the Greek planes returned to Greece by way of Jugoslav and Turkish terri°He said this was proof of “concerted reconnaissance activity directed against Bulgaria by these three Mr kamenov declared that Bulgaria would take “legitimate measures to defend Bulgarian air space if such violations should recur."
