HAWERA, March 4. The Egmont Racing Club concluded its summer meeting on Saturday with another large attendance, although the totalisator handled only £s6,utii, com pared with £59,228 on the second day last year. The two days' investments totalled £109,617 as against £113,908. The Gay Gordon-Rosearna double paid £176 5s 6d In a £4063 pool. The weather was fine and the track fast after rain.
