The death has ©ecutwd at his home of General Sir Charles Ferguston. who Bir'charles Fergusson, the seventh Baronet of Kilkerran had a distinguished career in the British Army. After going to Eton he went to Sandhurst and m 1883 joined the Grenadier Guards. He fought with the British Army in Egypt in the campaign of 18M-18M. He was first a Divisional Commander and then a corps Commander in the 1814-18 war, and for a year after the Armistice he was Military, Governor of Occupied German Territory. He retired from the Armyin 1923, and two years liter came to New Zealand as Governor-General. He was Lord Lieutenant of Ayrshire. Lady Fergusson, who survives him, was the second daughter of the seventh Karl of Glasgow.
