LYTTELTON CENTENNIAL REGATTA
Ample parking space for all motor vehicles has been arranged for the Lyttelton centennial regatta which is to be held on January 27 and 28. At a meeting of the regatta committee last evening the chairman (Mr W. T. Lester) expressed satisfaction with the progress of the arrangements in all branches.
Mr Lester said that the Lyttelton Harbour Board had granted the use of the graving dock for moorings for visiting yachts and the use of the tug Lyttelton as a flagship. A race for trawlers had been added to the programme.
Mr T. Henry was appointed starter for the sailing events and Mr A. Sinclair timekeeper. Judges will be appointed by club officials.
