RADIO PROGRAMMES
Sir,—l, too, should like to complain about the radio programmes, which are not as good now. as formerly. Twice within a week have we had a repetition of the last of a serial and the time of a serial is now about 10 minutes. Twice yesterday I heard Bing Crosby singing the same song from the same station. It is quite enough to listen so often to advertisements without any other repetitions. Could the advertisements not come first and not interrupt the story? It is also time some of the old serial stagers came to an end. We pay 25s a year ' and are not getting its value.—Yours, etc., • ANOTHER DISGRUNTLED , LISTENER. January 12, 1951.
