CANADIAN CRUISER
PROPOSED VISIT TO N.Z. (New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, January 12. The Canadian High Commissioner (Mr A. Rive) said to-day that he had asked the New Zealand Government whether it was agreeable to a courtesy visit to New Zealand waters by the Canadian cruiser H.M.C.S. Ontario. He said it was exoccted that the visit would be made in the first part of May and that the ship would call at Wellington and other ports. H.M.C.S. Ontario is under the command of Commodore H. F. Pullen. 0.8. E.. R.C.N, She has a complement ef 61 officers and and 450 men and will carry an additional 25 officers and 115 men under training.
