Seventh-day Adventists in Russia
“In little-known Russia many are turning from atheistic Communism tp the message of the Gospel, and in some villages up to 50 per cent, of the population have Leen baptised as Seventhday Adventists,” said Mr J. F, Coltheart at the Seventh-day Adventist convention at Ardmore on Thursday. “In Kiev a new church with a membership of 750 has just been opened. A business man recently said that in his world tours, including his journeys over the steppes of Russia and the Andes of South America, he always encountered two organisations—the Seventh-day Adventists and the Goodyear Rubber Company.’’
