NOVEL, TROPHY FOR PONY CLUB RIDERS.—The “Scandal Trophy,” presented by Mrs D. M. Crowther, secretary of the Christchurch Pony Club. The trophy is being competed for at the Royal Show for the first time. Named after the champion cob, Scandal, which was bred and owned by Mrs Crowther’s father, the late Mr George Maginness, the trophy will be awarded to the best junior rider in a dressage competition.
