HOKITIKA DISTRICT HIGH SCHOOL
£lOO,OOO REBUILDING GRANT APPROVED Cabinet has approved a grant for the rebuilding of the Hokitika District High School: An outlay of about £lOO.OOO is involved, and the new structure. Which js to pe built- in wood, will replace the old and obsolete brick building on the present site in Hampden street. Both the primary and the district high school are housed m the same building at Hokitika, and there will be no departure from this arrangement. It is hoped that the rebuilding programme will he started sometime in the New Year. The new building is to be one ql the most modern of its size and kind in the Dominion, according to the plans and specifications.
