PURSUANT TO SECTION 12 of the Local Election and Polls Act, 1925, and its Amendments, and the Christchurch Tramway District Act, 1920, and Regulations thereof, I hereby give PUBLIC NOTICE, that a Poll of Ratepayers will be held on Bth November, 1950, in connexion with the proposal to raise a Modernisation Loan of £950,000, for the purpose of replacing the existing Tramway System with a combined system of Trolley-buses and Omnibuses. AND, a Poll will be taken on WEDNESDAY, Bth NOVEMBER, 1950.
