CALL FOR “POSITIVE ACTION ” IN KOREA
(Rec. 12.15 a.m.) LONDON, Nov. 5. Communist China’s "democratic” political parties called to-day for "positive action ” to oppose the American forces in Korea. The Moscow radio broadcast a dispatch from Peiping quoting a joint declaration by these groups that “the aggressive actions of the imperialists headed by the United States constitute a serious threat to the security of China. ”
The statement charged that America was "plotting not only the destruction of the Korean People’s Democratic Republic, but wants to annex Korea, invade China, establish rule over Asia, and conquer the whole world.” It declared that the advance by the United Nations forces north of the 38th Parallel in Korea was "directly threatening the north-eastern frontiers of China."
