CATHOLIC WOMEN’S LEAGUE
<■ ANNUAL CONFERENCE The annual conference of representatives of the different branches of the Catholic Women’s League will Open in Christchurch on Tuesday, November 14 and continue the next day. The meetings will be held at “Mary Knoll,” Cashel street, and the Dominion president (Miss K. O'Connor) will preside.
The following delegates will attend: Miss V. Walsh, Miss M. Ormond, Mrs W. Delany (Auckland); Mrs W. O’Brien (Te Awamutu), Mesdames B. O’Brien, P. Doogan. Engil (Wellington), Mrs Dwyer (Masterton), Miss N. Fitzgibbon, Mrs W. G. Nicolson, Mrs P. Byrne (Dunedin), Mrs F. C. Delany, Miss H? Nottingham, Mrs R. Lattimore (Christchurch). Mrs Healy (Timaru). Among social gatherings to be held during the conference will, be an evening reception in the Winter Garden.
