FIVE O’CLOCK PARTY
A very happy reunion ot former pupils of the Otago Girls’ High School was held on Saturday at the home of the president of the Christchurch branch of the Old Girls’ Association (Mrs W. M. Cotter), Papanui road. The Otago Girls’ High School is one of the oldest girls' secondary schools in the Dominion, and the pride that lortner pupils feel in their school is shown at the annual reunions at which old girls of almost every decade of the school’s history meet and renew friendships. On Saturday members and visitors were welcomed by Mrs Cotter, who had the help of members of her committee and of the honorary secretary iMrs A. M. Lawn). Specially invited guests were Mrs A. H. Rothenberg. Mrs tan Menzies and Miss Mavis Reese i 'ounder, president, and secretary respectively of the executive council of Old Girls’ Associations), and representatives of old girls’ associations ot St. Margaret’s. Woodford House. Nelson Girls’ College. St. Dominic's, St Hilda's. Our Lady of the Missions, Rangi-ruru. Villa Maria, Austral-Gir-ton, Nga Tawa, Columba. St. Mary’s, Selwyn House. Sacred Heart, and the Christchurch, Avonside, Southland. Waitaki, and Timaru Girls’ High Schools, and Christchurch West High School.
