HOUSE ENTERED
The home of the Deputy-Mayor (Mr J. N. Clarke), at 28A Clifford avenue. Fendalton, was broken into last Tuesday night while Mr and Mrs Clarke were absent. After ransacking two bedrooms, upsetting a teble and breaking two valuable china ornaments, the thieves took only some clothing.
