Building Supervision
“In order to ensure the maximum efficiency in the erect'on of new M.E.D. buildings, the electricity committee has arranged that in future the prensration of pirns and specifications of buildings, the calling of tenders, and the supervision of construction shall be under the control of the C'ty Engineer,” said a report to the City Council last evening. “The commit'ee feels that the architectural section of the City Engineer’s Deoartment has staff facilities not available in the Electricity Denartment end that it is logical that such facilities should be availed cf by the Electricity Department aS they are by other council departments.”
