PRINCE GEORG’S WEDDING
THE QUEEN ATTENDS RECEPTION (Rec. 9.30 p.m.) LONDON, Sept 1«. Prince Georg of Denmark married Viscountess Anson this afternoon in the chapel of Glamis Castle, Angus, Scotland.
The bride is a niece of Queen Elizabeth. The bridegroom is a son of Prince Axel and Princess Margaretha of Denmark. He is Military Attache at the Danish Embassy in LondonThe ceremony was performed by the Rev. Mogens Buch, pastor at the Danish Seamen’s War Memorial Church and Mission at Desmond, Newcastle-on-Tyne, assisted by Canon H. G. Rorison, Scottish Episcopal chaplain to the Earl of Strathmore. The Queen and Princess Margaret arrived at Glamis Castle, and Were present at the reception and the luncheon afterwards, but not at the wedding ceremony. Among those present at the ceremony were the Edrl of Strathmore, Crown Prince Olaf. Crown Prince of Norway, and his daughters. Princess , Astrid and Princess Ragnhild; the bnderroom’s parents; and Princess Josephine Charlotte of Belgium, and Prince C&rl Bernadotte.
