TWO CARRIERS SENT BY BRITAIN . LONDON, A.’gust 18. The aircraft-carrier Theseus (13,000 tons) left Portsmouth to-day to join the Far Eastern Fleet in naval operations off Korea. She carries 44 aircraft. Another carrier, the 13,350-ton Warrior, will leave Portsmouth on Sunday to reinforce the British Far Eastern Fleet. The Warrior’s normal complement of officers and men is about 850, exclusive of pilots and air mechanics. She normally carries 40 aircraft. The Danish Government to-day offered a fully-equipped hospital ship, the Jutland a, of 13,164 tons, to the United Nations for use in the Korean war. The ship has a capacity of 150 to 200 patients. Doctors and nurses are included in the offer.
