U.S. TENNIS DOUBLES CHAMPIONSHIP
(Rec. 10 p.m.) NEW YORK, Aug 19. Bill Talbert and Gardner Mulloy, the American Davis Cup players, today beat Hopman and Seymour. 7-5. 6-4, 6-2, in a semi-final of the national tennis doubles championshins. The second semi-final, between Bromwich and Sedgman and McGregor and Trabert, was interrupted by rain, after Bromwich and Sedgman had won the first set, 6-4.
