Poultry Breeders’ Evening.—The first of a series of educational evenings was held bv the New Zealand Heavy Breed Poultry Club in the Poultry Hall. Selwyn street recently The subject was Rhode Island Reds. Prominent winners at recent shows were exhibited, including the winners uf the New Zealand Utility Championship and the South Island Utility Championship. The various breed points were explained by Mr C L Burt, the club’s president, and his remarks were followed with interest by more than 50 poultry keepers.
