LITTLE RIVER SHOW
DATE CHANGED TO FEBRUARY The Lktle River Show is to be held on February 3, 1951, instead of at the end of November this year. This was decided at the annual meeting of the banks Peninsula Agricultural and Pastoral Association. An amendment that tne show be held in November as us Sl l l° st by s * x vot e s to eight. The balance-sheet showed a surplus for the last year of £55 and accumulated assets totalling £844. Officers elected were:—president, Mr R. J. Chapman; vice-presidents, Messrs H. T. Chapman and E. E. Patten; treasurer, Mr L. W. Wealleans; auditor, Mr J. W. K. Lawrence; assistant secretaries, Messrs J. G. Lewthwaite and H. McKay; general committee, Messrs G. W. Birdlmg, J. Carr, I. L. M. Coop, V. Craw, J. Daniels, J. J. Flynn, A. W. Harris, A. A. Hutchinson, M. P. Kay, I. Hi Menzies, H. McKay, N. A. Gardiner, R. McKay, E. Mcßae, J. McQueen, A. T. Mould, I. Parkinson, K. H. Parkinsen, H. H. Stackhouse, J. H. Watson, R. Webb, J. R. White, J. R. D. White, F. G. Stanbury, N. Wright, J. T. Robinson, and H. W. Menzies. The association decided to place on record the services of the retiring treasurer, Mr H. L. Lewthwaite, who had held the nosition for 25 years.
