CONFERENCE AT INVERCARGILL
TROTTING CLUBS ELECT OFFICERS (New Zealand Press Association) • INVERCARGILL, June 28. The first annual conference of New Zealand trotting clubs ever to be held outside Wellington or Christchurch took place in Invercargill to-day, when about 50 delegates from all over the Dominion took part in a two-hour sitting. The business of the conference will be completed with a dinner party to-night. The following officers were elected:— president, Mr A. L. Matson (Christchurch); vice-president, Dr. M. G. Pezaro (Auckland); treasurer, Mr O. Hutchinson
(New Brighton); North Island members of executive, Messrs A. Anderson (Wellington), A. J. Corrigan (Hawera), A. G. Downes (Auckland), and R. J. Rolf (Thames); South Island members, Messrs T. S. Harrison (Methven). G. C. Cruickshank (Invercargill), W. H. Roche (Westport), A. Ferguson (Dunedin), J. F. Farrell (Oamaru), and W. M. Ollivier (Christchurch). The conference next year will be held In Christchurch.
