BATH-LIFTING UNITS FOR HOSPITAL
Approval of the expenditure involved in the purchase of bath-lifting units proposed for Burwood Hospital, has not yet been granted by the Minister of Health (Mr J. T. Watts).
As the North Canterbury Hospital Board is determined to buy the units out of its own trust funds if the Minister does not approve expend itu e from ordinary funds, it decided yesterday to place an order immediately for the manufacture of two bath units.
