SOUTH KOREAN ELECTIONS
VOTING BEGINS QUIETLY (Rec. 8 p.m.) • SEOUL, May 29. Voting began quietly to-day in South Korea’s second election since its liberation from Japanese rule. This was a contrast with the first election in May. I£4B, when 44 were killed and 62 injured. An average of more than 10 candidates each are contesting 210 seats in the National Assembly, which will have a life of four years.
