YOUTH FINED £2O UNDER MILITARY SERVICE ACT {.New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, May 26. What was described by Sub-Inspec-tor A. Johnson as the first prosecution under the Military Service Act, 1949, was heard against a youth in the Magistrate’s Court. Wellington. The youth, Raymond Agar, pleaded guilty to a charge of failing to report to the medical board for examination. The Magistrate (Mr A. A. McLachlan, S.M.) admitted defendant to one year’s probation and fined him £2O.
