Modern Schoolchildren
Modern schoolchildren are "pretty good products. They think more clearly, and have a better understanding of affairs, and can express themselves better than their forbears.” These opinions, received with much endorsement, were expressed by Mr W. B. Tennent; M.P., at the annual conference of the Education Boards* Association in Wellington. "Schools and education boards are judged on their products,” said Mr Tennent, "and I think there is no reason for us to be downhearted.”
