FINANCING OF EXHIBITION
INTERIM DIRECTORS TO MEET The floating of a company to finance the proposed Canterbury International Exhibition in Hagley Pari: in 1953 would be undertaken soon, the Mayor (Mr E. H. Andrews) said yesterday. A meeting of the provisional directors would be held at an early date, he said, to receive information gained by the Town Clerk (Mr H. S. Feast) on his recent v it to Wellington. The next step would be to float the company to obtain the necessary finance. No revision of estimates of expenditure and revenue made two or three , years ago had been undertaken yet by ' the interim directors, said Mr An--1 drews.
